Miss USA & Teen USA history - final 2, one director One of the neat things about the final two at Miss USA this year was that both Nana Meriwether (MD) and Olivia Culpo (RI) had the same directors - former Miss Rhode Island USA Cynthia Geronda Provost and former Miss Massachusetts USA Deborah Neary Miller.  Cindy & Debbie also direct New Jersey (top 10 this year), Illinois & Delaware. This is the third fourth time in recent years that the final two at Miss USA or Miss Teen USA have had the same director - and in all three four instances the directors have themselves been former titleholders!  At Miss Teen USA 2005 the final two, Allie LaForce (OH) and 1RU Catherine Laurion (MI), were directed by Melissa Proctor Pitchford, former Miss Ohio USA and at Miss Teen USA 2009 former Miss Tennessee USA Kim Payne Greenwood directed the final two, Stormi Henley (TN) and Brooke Fletcher (GA).  Melissa & Kim also had success with their states at Miss USA this year - Melissa’s girls finished 2RU (OH) and Top 16 (MI) and two of Kim’s states placed, GA was 4RU & TN was top 16. Postscript - It has just been brought to my attention that I forgot the final two of Miss Teen USA 2010, Kamie Crawford (MD) & Lexi Atkins (IL)!  There again, the successful directors of the final two were Cindy Provost & Debby Miller.
